Congratulations! If you've made it this far, you've already done something many people never do:
You've stopped long enough to evaluate your life.
You've asked difficult questions.
You've looked honestly at where you are.
You've begun thinking about where God might be leading you next.
And most importantly, you've started believing that change is possible.
But now comes the most important question of all:
What are you going to do with what you've learned?
Looking Back at the Journey
Throughout this series, we've explored some powerful truths. We started by evaluating our lives honestly. Not blaming others. Not making excuses. Not pretending everything was fine when it wasn't.
We learned that if we want a different future, we must take responsibility for the choices we make today. We talked about the power of our thoughts and how what we focus on often shapes the direction of our lives. We explored how fear, self-doubt, and limiting beliefs can keep us stuck far longer than necessary.
We discussed having a decided heart. A heart that stops living one foot in and one foot out. A heart that fully commits to becoming the person God created us to be. We learned how to create a vision for the future instead of allowing life to happen to us by default.
We talked about building a roadmap. And finally, we discussed taking action—even when we don't feel ready.
Every step matters. Every lesson matters. But knowledge alone doesn't create change. Action does.
Information Doesn't Change Your Life
Many people spend years collecting information. They read books. Listen to podcasts. Watch videos. Attend conferences. Take courses. Yet nothing changes.
Why?
Because information without implementation produces very little transformation.
You can have the best plan in the world. The most inspiring vision. The strongest desire. But if you never act on it, your life remains exactly the same.
A dream without action is simply a wish. And wishes rarely create the life God is calling us to live.
At some point, you have to move.
You have to take the step.
You have to make the call.
You have to start the project.
You have to submit the application.
You have to have the conversation.
You have to trust God enough to move forward.
Your Comfort Zone Is Costing You More Than You Think
Most people stay stuck because they're waiting to feel comfortable. The problem is that growth and comfort rarely exist in the same place. Every major change in my life required me to step outside of what felt safe.
Leaving an unhealthy marriage.
Driving across the country with everything I owned packed into my car.
Starting over in a new state.
Building a business.
Launching a podcast.
Sharing my story publicly.
None of those things felt comfortable. In fact, many of them were terrifying. But every blessing I've experienced on the other side of those decisions existed outside my comfort zone.
The life I prayed for was waiting on the other side of fear. And I suspect the same may be true for you.
Courage Isn't the Absence of Fear
One of the biggest misconceptions people have is believing that brave people aren't afraid. That's simply not true. Courage isn't the absence of fear. Courage is moving forward despite fear.
When I left Arkansas in February 2021 and drove 1,200 miles to Las Vegas, I was scared. I didn't know exactly how things would work out. I didn't know what challenges were ahead. I didn't know what my life would look like a year later.
But I knew something even more important:
I knew I couldn't stay where I was.
Sometimes faith doesn't mean having all the answers.
Sometimes faith means taking the next step anyway.
God Often Reveals the Path While You're Walking It
Many people are waiting for God to reveal the entire plan before they move. But that's rarely how faith works. Throughout Scripture, God often revealed the next step—not the entire journey.
Abraham didn't know every detail. Moses didn't know every detail. Peter didn't know every detail. They simply obeyed the next instruction. And God revealed more as they moved.
The same is true for us. You don't need to know everything. You don't need to have every answer. You don't need a five-year plan fully mapped out.
You simply need enough faith to take the next step.
The Life You Want Is Built One Decision at a Time
Transformation rarely happens overnight. It's built through small decisions repeated consistently.
One prayer.
One step.
One conversation.
One act of obedience.
One new habit.
One choice to trust God.
Then another.
And another.
Over time, those small decisions create a completely different life. Looking back, I can see that my life didn't change because of one giant moment. It changed because I finally became willing to take the next step over and over again.
What Happened When I Finally Said Yes
When I finally packed my car and left the life I had outgrown, I had no idea what God had waiting for me.
But here's what happened:
My mental and physical health improved.
I rebuilt my relationship with God.
I found a church I love.
I met incredible friends.
I became closer to my family.
I started a podcast.
I began sharing my story.
I discovered purpose in helping other women rebuild their lives.
Most importantly, I learned that God is faithful. Not because everything became easy. But because He walked with me through every challenge. The life I used to dream about slowly became the life I was living. And that journey is still continuing today.
What If Today Was the Day?
What if today was the day you stopped waiting?
What if today was the day you stopped talking yourself out of what God has placed on your heart?
What if today was the day you finally trusted Him enough to take the next step?
Not next month. Not next year. Today.
You don't have to change your entire life overnight. You simply have to start.
One step. One decision. One act of faith.
Final Thoughts
If there's one thing I hope you take away from this series, it's this:
You are not stuck.
You are not powerless.
You are not disqualified.
You are not too late.
God is still writing your story.
The question is whether you're willing to trust Him enough to turn the page.
The life you want isn't found by wishing.
It's found by believing, preparing, taking action, and trusting God one step at a time.
So evaluate your life.
Renew your mindset.
Create a vision.
Make a plan.
Take action.
And keep walking forward.
Because the life you're praying for may be waiting just on the other side of the step you're afraid to take.
